什么是 ADIT processing

People recently received I-485 Approval email are always concerned about its message like "......Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later.......", as "ADIT processing" is not widely discussed.

What the hell is the "ADIT processing"?

In short, ADIT refers to "Alien Documentation, Identification and Telecommunication System".

If you received a notice to go to this office for what we refer to as ‘ADIT processing’, you must visit this office in person by scheduling an appointment on our website using INFOPASS.
Remember to bring the following, to the office, for your appointment:

Form I-797, ''Approval Notice'' from the Service Center or an approval letter to process a Form I-551 card

2 new passport style photos and a valid passport

If you do not have a valid passport, bring 2 passport-style photos and proof of your inability to obtain a current passport, with you.
